Saint Gregory of Nyssa is a theologian and mystic of great significance. His legacy extends beyond his own Greek tradition to the Latin West, as well as to Slavic and Oriental Christianity.
This conference proposes to focus on the reception and readings of his work throughout the centuries in order to document how theological ideas spread and are reinterpreted.
Revisiting patristics also contributes to reenergizing ecumenical efforts and new possibilities for imagining the future of Christianity.
